Little Miss E (who turned 3 the other day) gives Maia all her old clothes. But she is in a cold country far away. (and we miss them very much . . ) So, I had to get Maia some new clothes for once. I picked out cloth and got Maia measured, and explained the little-girl dress design to my tailor. It was all new to me, but every day stuff for local tailors! But my rough and tumble girl had those new clothes looking rather torn in only a few days. My next try was to give another tailor friend some old nighties of mine, two pieces of leftover cloth from my outfits, and a dress to measure by. She did miracles! Old dresses become new.
