More Himalayan flowers, and me, the lazy trekker.

This is how most everything gets up the mountain — by pack horse. Elias wasn’t very interested in the views or the rivers, but he was interested in the immense amount of poo that these horses left on the road. He was continually pointing, saying “heehaw poopoo”.

We stopped for tea along the way. The kitchen was beautifully set up. The tea was not great, but then anything tastes okay after a few hours of walking!

The bush-like plants are cardamom plants. They are always planted in partially shaded areas, and it’s a good cash crop.
