Besides seeing the smugglers swarming our train, our trip to Dinajpur was very restful. We took the five hour train to Parbatipur, to go to Lamb Hospital for a check-up. The kids had fun looking out the windows.

Our travel on to a little town named Birgong (which looked deceptively close on the map) was less restful. It was only thirty miles away, but it took us more than 4 hours — due to the broken bridge, overcrowded buses and a sick little boy. But we made it .. and have some great memories! This is the first of six towns where Jacob is going to be teaching a 6 day photography course.
