We only get tomatoes for a few months out of the year. This year we enjoyed the fresh tomatoes so much that I got thinking: how can I enjoy these all year round? There are no proper canning jars available here in Bangladesh. Nor do we have a big freezer. So I found a salsa recipe online that promised that the salsa would stay good for a whole year, without being properly canned or refrigerated. So I tried it out. I’ll tell you in a few months if the recipe was any good! I’ll post the recipes on the recipe part of our blog — just don’t blame me if you try the salsa one out and it’s a waste — the jury’s still out on that one!
